MISSION: To offer the more discerning traveler a unique, authentic and personalized experience.
VISION: To promote respect for nature and sustainable development through naturalistic tourism.
Deyanira Hernández is 35 years old and was raised in a very small town in Soria, Spain. From a young age she tried to learn everything about the living things around her and this is why she decided to become a Biologist, graduating with honors in several subjects from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid specializing in Zoology and Ecology. She worked as a research assistant and as a diver with Reef Check at FUNDEMAR (Dominican Republic) and in Spain as an environmental guide and educator ,but in 2013, attracted by the incredible diversity of life in the humid tropics and by the challenges that this offers to any naturalist, she decided to move to the very heart of world biodiversity, the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica. Deyanira is ICT certified Guide #1706, PADI OW Scuba Diving Instructor #441459, ICT certified Guide Specialized in Diving #916, snorkeling, mangrove and whale-watching guide.
The Ocean, diving and bird-whatching are her passions and what she enjoys doing most.
She is very conscious of how fortunate they are to be living at Drake, and this is why she demonstrates her commitment by actively participating in activities that help to build a present and future that are both sustainable and green within the community.
